So, he's kinda always been a superhero, just without any powers. Originally, he had two retractable steel claws with which he fought bad guys. And, he could slow down time for a couple a seconds when he got adrenaline. But then, one day, when he was walking around, he slipped on some mud in the rain, and his shoes and claws got struck by lightning. So now he has electric claws, and he can run very quickly. He can view the possibilities of what can happen, so he can basically tell the future. It helps him decide things. If he were to chase after someone or run away, he can see the possible outcomes and decide what to do.
